Omnitracs Ties With Red Hat

Dallas-based fleet management software developer Omnitracs said today that it has linked up with open source software developer Red Hat, in a collaboration where Omnitracs will use Red Hat's technology to help improve its platform. According to the companies, Omnitracs will use Red Hat technologies such as the Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform and Red Hat Ansible Tower to expedite feature development for the Omnitracs One platform. Financial detailsd of the collaboration were not announced. Red Hat is best known for its Linux distributions.
