Omnitracs Names New CFO

Dallas-based Omnitracs said on Thursday that it has named a new Chief Financial Officer. According to Omnitracs, it has hired John Hoffman to thew CFO post, to oversee the company's financial, mergers and acquisitions, and legal operations. Hoffman was most recently CFO of Infogroup, and also had served at Silver Lake Sumeru and GTCR, in addition to serving at McKinsey & Company. Omnitracs develops fleet management and telematics products.
