Omnitracs Buys Canada's Shaw Tracking

Dallas-based fleet management technology developer Omnitracs said late Thursday that it has agreed to acquire the assets of Canadian company Shaw Tracking, a provider of fleet management solutions in Canada. Omnitracs is acquiring Shaw Tracking for Shaw Communications Inc. Financial details of the transaction were not announced by the companies. Omnitracs said the acquisition will help it expand its Canadian presence.
