StackEngine Acquired By Oracle

Austin-based StackEngine, which develops software for managing applications build on the open source Docker platform, has been acquired by Oracle. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced by the companies, and very few details on the deal were announced by the companies. StackEngine had raised a small round of seed funding in 2014 from Silverton Partners and LiveOak Venture Partners. StackEngine was founded by Bob Quillin and Eric Anderson.
