NetFortris Names Co-CEOs

Dallas- and Seattle-based NetFortris, a provider of secure cloud communications service, said on Tuesday afternoon that it has named Kevin Dickens and Gene Carr as Co-CEOs of the company. Dickens had been Chief Operating Officer, and Carr had been Chief Financial Officer of the company. The company said current CEO Grant Evans remains on the company's board of directors. Dickens previously served at Ventraq and Choice One Communications, and also served at ACC TelEnterprises; Carr was previously at GCP Consultants. NetFortris acquired Plano, Texas-based Fonality in February of this year. NetFortris offers up cloud-based unified communications services, as did Fonality.
