Contineo Gets Investment From Westell

Plano, Texas-based Contineo Systems, a developer of communications software for broadband carriers, has received an investment from Westell Technologies. Westell said today that it made a significant equity investment in the firm worth $2.5M, which gives it 40 percent ownership of the firm and two seats on its board of directors. According to Westell, Contineo's software is used to enable broadband carriers to maximize revenue from existing customers.
