ITC Snags Private Equity Investment From Accel-KKR

Carrollton, Texas-based ITC, a provider of software used for insurance industry websites, marketing, and related services, has received a private equity investment from Accel-KKR, according to the company. Size of the investment was not announced. ITC, which was founded by Scott Upfield in 1983, said that Laird Rixford, the former president of ITC< will become CEO as part of the deal; Upfield will remain with the business in an unspecified role. ITC was represented by investment banking firm Morgan Partners in the investment deal.
