Omnitracs Rolls Mobile Workforce Tracking App

Dallas-based Omnitracs, which develops fleet management software for the transportation and logistics market, said today that it has rolled out a new, mobile workforce tracking app. According to the company, its new Omnitracs Tracking powered by Roadnet helps track location of mobile workers during the day, and help understand the behavior of drivers. Pricing on the new product was not disclosed. The company said the new product helps improve safety, productivity, and customer satisfaction, by letting companies pinpoint the lovation of their drivers on satellite and street maps. Omnitracs moved its headquarters to Dallas in July.
