Werkadoo Launches Freelance Job Site

Houston-based Werkadoo.com officially went live Wednesday, saying that its mission is to link freelancers and telecommuting professionals with businesses in need of their services. Werkadoo explained that it offers project management tools that aid businesses in finding, hiring, managing and paying remote workers. Additionally, Werkadoo said, the site enables freelancers to market themselves with an online profile and to respond to job listings from across the globe. Werkadoo was founded by Bridgette Penel and Travis Skweres.
