Loom Lands $600,000 For Freelance Marketplace

Austin-based Loom, a startup developing an online marketplace for engineers, developers, and UX designers, has raised $600,000 in a seed funding round. The funding came from angel investors. Loom, founded by Andy Nguyen and Chase White, helps companies hire freelancers, letting them post projects and pay freelancers using cash, equity, or a combination of both.
