Virtus Partners Gets Private Equity Investment
Houston-based Virtus, a provider of technology-enabled, fixed-income collateral administrative services, said this morning that it has received a "significant" minority investment from private equity investment Aquiline Capital Partners. Financial details of the investment were not disclosed. Virtus said that Aquiline adds Vincenzo La Ruffa, Geoff Kalish, and Anthony Abenante to its board as part of the deal. Virtus was advised by Sandler O'Neill + Partners, LP in the transaction.
