Umbel Raises $20M For Customer Data Analysis Tools

Austin-based Umbel, a developer of customer data analysis tools, said this week that it has raised $20M in a Series B funding round. The funding was led by Cielo Private Equity, along with others. Lisa Harris, Managing Partners at Cielo, joins the company's board with the funding. Umbel said the funds go twoards sales and marketing efforts. Umbel's founder and CEO is HO Maycotte.
