Supergoop Snags Private Equity Funding For Consumer Brand

San Antonio-based Supergoop, the developer of a skincare products maker known for its "Unseen" sunscreen brand, has received a "significant" private equity funding round. The funding came from Encore Consumer Capital. Size of the investment round was not announced. The companies said that Supergoop's existing investors, including JMK Consumer Growth, Circle Up, Grace Beauty, Green Park and Golf, and continuing to support the company. Supergoop was founded by CEO Holly Thaggard.
