ENGIE North America Completes Financing For West Texas Wind Project

Energy project developer ENGIE North America said on Wednesday that it has completed financing on its Live Oak Wind Project, which it is building in West Texas, near San Angelo. The financing includes $147 million in construction financing and $155 million in tax equity financing for the project through Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BofAML), with Rabobank providing a letter of credit. ENGIE said the wind project will have a total capacity of 200MW. ENGIE North America said the financing consists of ENGIE said Live Oak is part of a portfolio recently acquired as part of its Infinity Renewables portfolio. ENGIE says the new wind project will be online by the end of the year.
