Southwest Airlines Extends Mobile Boarding Passes Everywhere

Dallas-based Southwest Airlines said Wednesday that it has extended out its mobile boarding passes throughout the United States, letting travelers check in using their smartphones or other devices. Southwest has been slowly rolling out the service since last fall. Travelers in Austin will be very familiar with the mobile check-in service, since it began testing of the feature in Austin, later rolling it out in a pilot to Houston and Dallas.
