Starmount Snags Oracle Vet As President

Austin-based Starmount, a developer of digital signage products, said today that it has named Jerry Rightmer to President of the firm. The company said that Rightmer was most recently at Oracle, where he was Vice President of Retail Application Strategy. He has also served at 360Commerce. Starmount also said Rightmer has almost 20 years of retail industry knowledge and technical expertise, and will oversee the firm's product vision and technology strategy.
