SpyCloud Gets $2.5M For Data Breach Detection

Austin-based SpyCloud announced this morning that it has raised $2.5M in a seed funding round, for its software for protecting businesses from data breaches. According to SpyCloud, the funding came from Silverton Partners and March Capital Partners. SpyCloud was founded by Ted Ross, the former CEO of Exodus Intelligence and head of Threat Intelligence at HP, and David Endler, the former CEO of Jumpshot and head of security research for TippingPoint and iDefense. The company said its platform notified organizations, through either email or an API, when their online assets are exposed on the dark web. More information »
