Spredfast Updates Social Media Product

Austin-based Spredfast has released an update of its social media marketing software, saying that its new product adds a new performance dashboard, and improved iPhone app, ways to build custom promotions, contests, and sweepstakes, as well as better ability to integrate promoted content in Facebook. Spredfast develops social marketing software, used by companies to manage their social marketing activity. Spredfast said the new release allows its customers to manage their paid, earned and owned media programs from one platform. Spredfast is led by Rod Favaron, and venture backed by Austin Ventures, Interwest Partners, and OpenView Venture Partners.
