RiverRock Holdings Purchases Dynamic Energy

Dallas-based acquisition firm RiverRock Holdings announced Monday that it has purchased Dynamic Energy Systems Inc., a publisher of medical billing software for the home medical equipment industry. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. RiverRock said, as a result of the acquisition, it has appointed partner Geoff Kearney as Dynamic Energy's chief executive officer. Founded in 1982, Dynamic Energy Systems is headquartered in McKinney, Texas. The company's flagship product is MedAct, a HIPAA-compliant application for home medical equipment providers that handles, among other things, electronic claims processing, patient record keeping, accounts receivable and inventory tracking.
