Masergy Buys Global DataGuard

Dallas-based Masergy, which provides managed network and cloud services, said Tuesday that it has acquired Global DataGuard, a provider of security technology and services. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Masergy said the buy will bolsters its ability to address cyber attacks. Global DataGuard was based in Addison, Texas. According to Masergy, it now provides a full set of security services, including security audits, forensic audits, compliance testing, penetration testing, vulnerability assessments and risk management.
