Masergy Acquired By Berkshire Partners

Plano, Texas-based Masergy, a provider of managed network and other cloud services, has been acquired by private equity backer Berkshire Partners, the two said on Monday. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Berkshire Partners said that it will be the sole acquirer of Masergy. Berkshire Partners is acquiring Masergy from another private equity company, Abry Partners. Masergy was advised by Evercore Partners in the deal; Berkshire Partners was advised by Ropes & Gray LLP and Covington & Burling LLP.
