Masergy Acquisition Completes

Dallas-based Masergy Communications, the provider of broadband and communications services, said today that the acquisition of the firm by ABRY Partners has completed. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Masergy and ABRY had announced in June that ABRY would acquire Masergy. ABRY Partners is a private equity fund. The acquisition came after Masergy decided to forgo an effort to go public, and instead would turn to a private equity buyer.
