Makexyz Gets Investment From Intel Capital For 3D Printer Marketplace

Austin-based Makexyz, which operates an online marketplace for 3D printer access, has scored an investment round from Intel Capital, according to Intel. Financial details of the investment were not announced. Makexyz--headed by Nathan Tone--helps people with 3D designs find nearby 3D printers, and lets them upload and print their designs. Intel announced the deal along with an investment in CGTrader, a similar marketplace provider which providse access to 3D content and designs, and which is based in Lithuania. More information »
