IDERA Acquired By New Private Equity Owner, HGGC, In $1.125 Billion Deal

Houston-based database management software developer IDERA is in a $1.125 billion recapitalization deal, which will make private equity investor HGGC the majority investor in the company, HGGC announced on Wednesday. According to HGGC, it will become the controlling investor in IDERA after the recap, with TA Associates and management owning a "significant ownership stake." TA Associates had acquired IDERA in 2014.
