AlertLogic Targets WordPress Vulnerability Issues

IT administrators who are tired of dealing with unpatched vulnerabilities in the popular WordPress blog software might look at the updates to the software from Houston-based AlertLogic. AlertLogic said this week that it has launched a feature which provides enhanced protection against WordPress vulnerabilities. According to AlertLogic, its new feature provides a set of rules that are designed to instantly recognize and block exploits against known, exploitable WordPress vulnerabilities. WordPress is a popular attack target for hackers, spammers, and others, due to its role in powering almost 30 percent of the web sites on the Internet, according to Alert Logic.
