HomeMe Launches Apartment Rental App In Houston

HomeMe, a new startup developing mobile apps to help users prequalify for and rent apartments, said on Wednesday that it has launched into Houston--its first market--and will soon roll out in Dallas and Austin. The startup said it lets users enter information such as their annual income, credit, background and rental history, to pre-qualify them before looking for apartments. The company says that by getting pre-approved before finding an apartment, users save money and costs associated with applications, background checks, and subscription fees.
