Zynga Shuts Dallas Offices In Big Layoff

The Dallas offices of social games developer Zynga are being shut as part of a company-wide layoff, the game maker said Monday. Zynga said it is shutting its New York, Los Angeles, and Dallas locations as part of what it called a "substantial" cost reduction. Zynga said it is looking to save $70M to $80M in cash expense savings through the cuts. Zynga is cutting 520 employees, or approximately 18 percent of its workforce. Zynga did not say how many employees it has in Dallas
