Zix Buys Entelligence Messaging Server

Dallas-based email security provider Zix announced this morning that it has acquired the Entelligence Messaging Server technology from B>>Entrust Datacard. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. According to Zix, the acquisition will help strengthen its email encryption capabilities. Zix said Entelligence Messaging Server includes advanced message tracking, PDF statement delivery, high availability on-premises architecture and standards-based end-to-end encryption features, which it will incorporate into its own solution.
