Zerolag Communications, With Data Center In Austin, Acquired

Managed hosting service provider Zerolag Communications, which has its backup facility in Austin, has been acquired by Atlanta-based Total Server Solutions. Total Server Solutions announced the acquisition on Friday morning. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced, however, Total Server Solutions said it has just raised $23M in a combination of equity and debt for acquisition financing and growth. That funding came from Layer 7 Capital and J.P. Morgan Chase. ZeroLag's main data center was in Los Angeles, in addition to its backup facility in Austin, and a disaster recovery site in Charlotte, North Carolina.
