WP Engine Rolls Geolocation Feature
Wondering why that blog or website seems to know you're in downtown Austin? That might be because of a new feature from Austin's WP Engine, called GeoIP, which lets marketers target web content based on a user's physical location. According to WP Engine, its new feature lets marketers target users down to a user's country, state, city, and even ZIP code, letting them tune their marketing and content for specific users. Pricing on the new plug in was not announced. WP Engine said the feature does not rely on third-party IP detection, and stays within its cache system, to preserve website speed and performance.
