WP Engine Names HR Head

Austin-based WP Engine has named Annette Alexander as its Chief People Officer, a new role at the company, to lead "strategic vision and oversight" for human resources and company culture, the company announced this morning. Alexander was most recently Vice President of Human Resources at RetailMeNot, and had previously been at PayPal, Danaher, Barclays and Dell, serving at those firms in Europe. WP Engine specifically cited Alexander's global experience, and its growth in Limerick, Ireland, as well as overall 25 percent growth in its employee base, for the hire.
