WP Engine Names Engineering VP

Austin-based WP Engine, which provides WordPress hosting services, said on Thursday that it has named Lee McClendon as the company's new Senior Vice President of Global Engineering. McClendon joins the company from SolarWinds, where he served as Group Vice President of Engineering, managing that company's 600+ strong engineering team. WP Engine said McClendon has more than 20 years of experience leading engineering and software development teams.
