Worksoft Names CEO

Dallas-based Worksoft, which develops testing products for SAP, said yesterday that it has named Jim Kent as its new CEO and member of its Board of Directors. Kent was most recently on the board of directors of Exact Holding N.V., and CEO of Exact Software America, a provider of ERP, HRM, CRM, CPM, and other business software. Chris Pacitti of Austin Ventures said in a statement that Kent's appointment will help the firm leverage both direct and indirect distribution channels, and accelerate customer acquisition and shareholder value at the firm.
