Wedge Networks Names CEO

Dallas-based Wedge Networks announced this morning that it has named James Hamilton as its new Chief Executive Officer. The company, which develops software, said that Hamilton has been on its board since 2013. Hamilton the CEO of TippingPoint, which he headed through its acquisition by 3Com for $430M. Hamilton also has served at Efficient Networks, Picazo Communications, and Cyan. Dr. Hongwen Zhang, the former CEO and co-founder of Wedge Networks, becomes CTO of the company.
