Veros Systems Gets $1.5M

College Station-based Veros Systems, a developer of a system to monitor the reliability and energy efficiency of rotating machinery, said today that it has received a third tranche of a $1.5M investment from the Texas Emerging Technology Fund. The company, headed by Allan L. Wilson, said it is developing predictive systems that use electrical measurements to continuously monitor the performance and conditions of rotating machinery. The company said it was founded by Tommy E. Knight, former President and CEO of Brown & Root, and Dr. Alexander G. Parlos, a professor of Mechanical Engineering at Texas A&M. More information »
