Vapor IO Targets Telecom Towers With New Product

Austin-based computing systems developer Vapor IO has rolled out a new product aimed at the telecom market, Vapor Edge for Telecom, which it says is specifically designed for installation at the base of cell-enabled radio towers. Vapor IO said the new product helps wireless telecom companies deploy and manage cloud servers co-located with their base station equipment, letting them deploy and manage cloud servers to deliver edge capabilities for their networks. Pricing on the product was not announced.
