uStudio Applies AI To Automate Video Transcription

Austin-based uStudio said on Thursday that it has launched a new software product which uses artificial intelligence, to automate the transcription of videos--creating searchable video metadata without human intervention. uStudio said its technology allows users to search within videos when certain keywords or phrases are spoken; to automatically create subtitles for those videos, as well. The company said its AI and "deep learning" software can handle multiple languages, speaker dialects, low quality audio, and ambient noise.
