uShip Links With Online Auction Site

Austin-based uShip, which operates an online marketplace for vehicle, freight, and household goods shipping, has linked in a strategic partnership with online auction firm Proxibid, the two announced this morning. Financial details of the partnership were not disclosed, however, the companies said the deal will provide users of Proxibid with direct access to uShip's network of transporters. Proxibid buyers can now get immediate access to a shipping price estimate from uShip via the service. uShip is the subject of A&E's "Shipping Wars" reality show.
