Upland Software Buys Mobile Commons

Austi-based Upland Software said this morning that it has acquired Mobile Commons, a cloud-based mobile messaging software company. Financial details of the buy were not disclosed, however, Upland Software said it expects the transaction to increase its current, annualized revenues to approximately $75M. Upland Software said that Mobile Commons' customers include healthcare, higher education, government, consumer product and nonprofit organizations, who are using the company's software for two-way SMS programs and campaigns.
