Travelocity Brings Credit Card Scanning to iPhone App

Are you a traveler looking to make a reservation at a hotel? Having a tough time getting those credit card numbers right punching it into your smartphone? Online travel site Travelocity said today that it has added a new, credit card scan tool to help users capture and auto-fill out billing information, as part of the update of its iPhone App. Travelcity--which is based in Southlake, Texas--said the app also includes a number of other features and updates. Travelocity said the credit card scanning functionality follows its introduction of the technology on Hotel Deals by Lastminute.com, another Travelocity iPhone app.
