Tk20, Taskstream In Merger

Austin-based Tk20, a provider of software used for higher education assessment and accreditation, has merged with New Yor-based Taskstream, the two announced this morning. Financial details of the merger were not announced. Tk20 was founded in 2003, and in addition to its Austin headquarters also has operations in India. Both companies provide software to college and universities, to help them measure, analyze, and report learning data. TK20 was advised by SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, Inc., along with Kastner Huggins Reddien Gravelle LLP, in the acquisition; Taskstream was advised by Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel LLP, with acquisition financing from Webster Bank.
