Tidal Software Acquired By Cisco

Tidal Software, a maker of enterprise application management and automation software, has been acquired by Cisco for $105M in cash plus retention incentives. Networking giant Cisco Corp. announced the buy this morning, saying that Tidal--which is based both in Houston as well as Palo Alto, California--will become part of the firm's Cisco Advanced Services organization.
