Threatcare Acquired By ReliaQuest

Austin-based Threatcare, which develops cybersecurity software, has been acquired by Florida-based ReliaQuest, the two companies said this week. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. According to ReliaQuest, it plans to add Threatcare's products to its own security platform, which is used by security operations centers and security teams. As part of the acquisition, Threatcare's team members will join the company, with Threatcare founder and CEO Marcus Carey becoming Chief Technology Officer at ReliaQuest. Threatcare's backers include Moonshoots Capital, the venture firm led by Kelly Perdew and Craig Cummings, which is co-headquartered in Austin.
