ThoughtSpot Gets $145M For AI Search Tools, To Expand In Dallas

ThoughtSpot, a developer of artificial intelligence-driven analkytics and search tools for the enterprise, said it will expand its research and development center in Dallas, after announcing a big funding round. ThoughtSpot said it has raised $145M in a Series D funding, which came from Lightspeed Ventures, Future Fund, Khosla Ventures, and General Catalyst participated, plus new investor Sapphire Ventures. The company says it has now raised $306M in total funding. ThoughtSpot said it will use the funding in part to expand in the EMEA and APAC, plus to grow its research and development centers in Palo Alto, Seattle, Dallas, and Bangalore. The company is based in Palo Alto, California.
