The Planet Signs Ecarlist

The Planet revealed Monday that it will serve as the dedicated hosting platform for a Dallas-based startup. The financial impact of The Planet's customer win was not disclosed. According to the Houston-based IT hosting firm, its new client is ecarlist, an automotive software developer founded by advertising veteran Len Critcher. Specifically, The Planet explained, ecarlist provides North American car dealers with Web-based data, including inventory management, pricing analytics and search engine optimization. Ecarlist also handles marketing and Web site design for its customers, The Planet said.
