The Planet Claims Revenue Growth In Challenging Quarter

Houston-based The Planet, announced today that the firm has seen what it calls "significant revenue growth" in the quarter, although the firm said the economic environment continued to be "challenging." The privately firm, which did not report actual financials, claimed that it had EBITDA in the 30%+ range, and very strong cash flow, with over 1,000 new customer added in the first quarter. The firm says it now hosts 18.5 million web sites. The Planet is a provider of web hosting and colocation services.
