The Planet Adds Unlimited Bandwidth Service

Houston, Texas-based ddicated Web hosting provider The Planet revealed Wednesday that it is now offering an un-metered bandwidth service though Cogent. The Planet said the service offers upstream transfer rates from 10 megabits per second up to 100 megabits per second. The Planet added that the service is available on three of its most common server configurations and was developed for customers with bandwidth-intensive operations, such as media hosting and streaming video. Pricing for the service starts at $200 per month, The Planet said. The Planet provides web hosting services for small- and medium-sized businesses.
