TGS Acquires Parallel Data Systems

Houston, Texas-based TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company L.P., a subsidiary of TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA, said today that it has acquired Parallel Data Systems. Financial terms were not disclosed. Parallel Data Systems provides seismic imaging software applications for the oil and gas industry, and employs 21 employees at offices in Houston and Dallas.
