Teladoc: Record Number of Telehealth Visits In November

Lewisville, Texas-based telehealth provider Teladoc says it saw a record number of patient visits through its service in November, with a total of 101,600 patient visits. The company said the surge in usage of its system was fueled both by an increase in utilization by its existing members, along with new members and expanded services. The company says the ability to handle the surge in visits demostrates its platform is scalable, and that it has the clinical expertise and member support needed to handle those increased volumes.
