Tek-Tools Expands Storage Software

Dallas, Texas-based Tek-Tools Software, a provider of software for managing storage and other devices, said this week that it has added a new module that supports storage provider EMC's Symmetrix DMX line of storage arrays. The firm's StorageProfiler product discovers information on EMC's storage arrays using the storage industry standard SMI-S. StorageProfiler is a web-based application used for monitoring and managing storage infrastructure.
